Location Description
As Queensland's largest inland City, Toowoomba retains country charm with a growing urban coffee culture and street art scene. Also known as the Garden City, Toowoomba is home to hundreds of parks and gardens as well as the iconic Carnival of Flowers spring event.
Top Sights
Queens Park:
From tree-lined avenues and woodlands to open space sporting ovals, all-abilities playgrounds, and barbecue and picnic facilities, the parkland has lots to offer. A variety of community events are hosted at Queens Park with the internationally renowned Toowoomba Carnival of Flowers and its signature Festival of Food and Wine.
Cobb+Co Museum:
The Cobb+Co Museum is part of the Queensland Museum Network and home to the National Carriage Collection.
Picnic Point Lookout:
Located at the highest point of Picnic Point Parklands near the cafe/restaurant area, this lookout area features a long, curved retaining wall that acts as a promenade for visitors to soak in the distant views and snap some sensational photos.
